U.S. Senator Katie Britt reflected on her achievements during the 118th Congress and outlined her priorities for the upcoming 119th Congress. As she continues her tenure, Britt will serve on the Judiciary, Appropriations, Banking, and Rules committees.

"Each and every day I serve as U.S. Senator for the great state of Alabama, I fight to grow opportunity for hardworking families and preserve the American Dream for generations to come," said Senator Britt. She emphasized her commitment to putting Alabama first by managing taxpayer dollars responsibly, opposing certain policies of the Biden Administration, and introducing bipartisan solutions in areas such as child care, maternal health, youth mental health, border security, and support for military families.

Britt expressed enthusiasm about working with Republican majorities in both chambers of Congress and President Trump in office again. "Heading into this next Congress, I am excited and ready to accomplish even more and deliver long-lasting wins for Alabamians," she stated.

During her two years in office, Britt received several awards recognizing her work. These include CPAC’s Award for Conservative Achievement and Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s Champion of Youth Award. She also earned an A+ rating from Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America’s Candidate Fund for supporting life sanctity and an A rating from NumbersUSA for combating illegal migration.

Britt highlighted strategic funding secured during her term that benefits Alabama's defense capabilities, rural health services, mental health research, veterans' services, family farmers, law enforcement agencies, local infrastructure projects, and economic development initiatives.

As Ranking Member of the Homeland Security Appropriations Subcommittee, Britt prioritized border security while focusing on legislation empowering parents and supporting families across Alabama. Her efforts included addressing rural healthcare needs alongside promoting child care affordability.

In addition to these initiatives within national security domains where adversaries like China pose threats globally - advocating peace through strength doctrines became paramount underlining importance placed upon America First policies advocated by Senator Britt throughout tenure thus far.
