On February 3, 2025, Gary Palmer expressed gratitude towards the President of the United States for prioritizing border security. He stated: "Thank you @POTUS for prioritizing the security of our borders!"

The following day, February 4, 2025, Palmer announced his support for the Dismantle DEI Act. He mentioned his role as a cosponsor and acknowledged Representative Cloud from Texas for leading this initiative. Palmer tweeted: "Proud to be a cosponsor of the Dismantle DEI Act.
