Rep. Terri A. Sewell, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Alabama’s 7th district since 2011, recently shared insights from her visits and discussions in Tuscaloosa through a series of tweets. On February 20, 2025, Rep. Sewell tweeted about her visit to the Maude Whatley Health Center in Tuscaloosa. She emphasized the importance of community health centers by stating: "I just toured the Maude Whatley Health Center in Tuscaloosa. Like so many of our community health centers, they provide essential care to our most vulnerable Alabamians."
