Representative Gary Palmer's bill to overturn the Biden-Harris Administration's ban on natural gas water heaters has successfully passed in the House of Representatives. The bill, known as H.J. Res 20, aims to reverse regulations affecting natural gas appliances.

"In November, the American people gave the Republican party a mandate to put the people first. By passing H.J. Res 20, we are fulfilling that mandate," stated Rep. Palmer following the bill's passage. He further commented, "This is a major step towards undoing the previous administration’s attack on home appliances and reinstating the importance of consumer choice. Not only does this bill protect gas water heaters, but it protects all natural gas appliances."

The resolution was approved by a vote count of 221 in favor, 198 against, and two abstentions.
